What is SSO?
Single Sign-On (SSO) is a session/user authentication process that permits a user to enter one name and password in order to access multiple applications from a single authorization point, which is managed by an identity provider (IDP). Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML 2.0) is a leading industry standard for exchanging the authentication and authorization data that Celoxis will support as a service provider (SP).
This eliminates the hassle of logging into multiple applications and creates a seamless, integrated experience for the users.
How does it work?
When SSO is enabled for a particular company, all users from that company will be authenticated using the IDP credentials. Enabling SSO via SAML 2.0 means that user authentication is handled entirely outside of Celoxis.

Before setting up SSO, please confirm the following:
- Your SSO Identity Provider (IDP) is SAML 2.0 based.
- All users and clients have unique email addresses. While your project clients will continue to access Celoxis using their Celoxis passwords, SSO requires unique email addresses within an account.
